FAQ's

Claim numbers are issued by your insurance company at the time you report your accident. Just jot it down and bring it in with you when you come in for your estimate. We will assist you with the rest.

No. There is no law that requires you to submit more than one estimate to your insurance company.

Your estimator can give you an estimate of the time it will take to complete the repairs. All estimated completion dates are subject to change based on hidden damages, part availability, etc. If possible, it is always recommended to schedule your repairs upon arrival of the parts to ensure less down-time while your vehicle is in the shop.

If you need a courtesy car, we can have one available for you when you drop your vehicle off, free of charge. Insurance companies will only pay for rental/courtesy car if you have Rental Coverage on your policy, or if you are the claimant. Check your policy and/or call your insurance company to find out if you have rental coverage and what your policy limitations are. If you do have rental coverage on your insurance, we will direct bill any rental charges incurred while your vehicle is in for repair.

Yes, we would be happy to provide you with a ride! We strive to make each customer’s visit a positive experience and will work diligently towards that goal. Arrangements can also be made for a pick-up service when repairs are completed.

Not necessarily. A car is a total loss only when the price of repairs exceed a predetermined percentage of the total value of your vehicle. The majority of vehicles manufactured during/after the 1990’s are built with a Unibody (frame and body as one) construction. Our highly skilled technicians, with the aid of our state-of-the-art computer measuring systems, can return your vehicle to its original factory specifications. In most cases if it is determined that the frame section is bent beyond repair, that section can simply be replaced without compromising safety or structural integrity. If your vehicle has a full-frame construction, it is possible to replace the entire frame.

Our modern factory finished incorporate multiple layers of highly specialized paints. We have made a major investment in the finest paint system available and constantly upgrade its technology and equipment to ensure that each vehicle’s new paint, matches the existing. We take special pride in our ability to match factory finishes as the final step in the restoration.

Yes, we guarantee all repairs (with the exception of rust repairs) with a lifetime warranty.

The amount of deductible that you will be responsible for is determined by your insurance policy. If you carry “Broadened” or “Broadform” Collision, and you were not at fault, your insurance company will most likely waive your deductible. Insurance companies determine fault by your account of the accident when you make the claim, and by reviewing the accident report filed with the police department. If you are unsure about your deductible, you may contact your insurance agent directly for further information.

If a deductible applies, it is your responsibility to pay the shop completing your repairs when you pick up your vehicle.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, as well as cash or checks.

Parts that are commonly subject to betterment charges include parts that wear out and need replacement with time and use (i.e., tires, batteries, suspension, etc.). These betterment charges are determined by your insurance company and are pro-rated based on actual miles on your vehicle.

Recommendations and precautions within the first 30 days of repair:

Do: Always use clean fresh water, wash the vehicle by hand with cool water and a very mild car wash solution using a soft cloth or sponge, wash your vehicle in the shade.

Don’t: Avoid parking under trees and utilities lines, bird droppings have a high acid content and tree sap can mar or spot a freshly painted surface, both potentially causing damage. Do not “dry wipe” your vehicle; dry wiping can cause scratches on the finish. Do not drive on gravel road. Chipping the finish is easily done in the first 30 days. Only use a “touchless” car wash, stiff brushes or sponges could mar the finish and damage the surface. Do not wax or polish the vehicle for 30 days.
